Cancellation Policy

Face-to-face presentations

  • Cancellations made 8 weeks or more before presentation date: A full refund of the deposited amount will be given for cancellations made 8 weeks or more prior to the scheduled presentation date. If the full fee was paid, 90% will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 4-7 weeks before presentation date: 50% of deposited amount will be refunded for cancellations made 4-7 weeks prior to scheduled presentation date. If the full fee was paid, 80% will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 1-3 weeks before presentation date: 40% of deposited amount will be refunded for cancellations made 2-3 weeks prior to scheduled presentation date. If full fee was paid, 70% of full fee will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 1 week of presentation date: No refund will be given for cancellations made within 1 week of the scheduled presentation date. However, presentations may be rescheduled with no fee (see rescheduling policy).
  • When booking a 2 or 3 part program, deposits taken in order to secure a discount for a future presentation are not eligible for a refund


Online presentations

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before presentation date: A full refund will be given for cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled online presentation date (minus an administration fee, and fee for any material already posted to your school).
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before presentation date:
    A 60% refund will be given for cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to 12:00am on the scheduled online presentation date (minus an administration fee, and fee for any material already posted to your school).
  • Cancellations made on the presentation date:
    No refund will be given for cancellations made on the scheduled online presentation date. However, a cancelled presentation may be rescheduled (see rescheduling policy).
  • When booking a 2 or 3 part program, deposits taken in order to secure a discount for a future presentation are not eligible for a refund

Deposit made for future presentations:
Deposits made for future presentations are refundable for 2 weeks after payment date.
 
Deposits made for discount eligibility:
Separate rules apply for deposits paid in order to secure the 2-3 part program discount.
  • A deposit is required to secure eligibility for discounted program pricing
  • These deposits are refundable until 2 weeks after the first presentation delivery date. After this, the deposit is non-refundable, but can be put towards future presentations booked within 12 months of when the deposit was paid.


Tours
Cancellations and rescheduling of presentations that are a part of school tours are not eligible for any refund if cancellation is made within 2 weeks of the presentation date. Rescheduling school tour presentations will be processed on a case by case basis.

Rescheduling Policy

Face to face bookings

2 weeks or more notice given:
Rescheduling requests made with 2 weeks or more notice will not incur a fee.
A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it will be classed as a cancellation and cancellation policy will apply.

Less than 2 weeks notice given: A fee of $150 will apply to reschedule your booking. A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it will be classed as a cancellation.


Face to face bookings that include travel and/or accomodation
(not including tours)

2 weeks or more notice given:
Rescheduling requests made with 2 weeks or more notice will not incur a fee (travel/accomodation rescheduling fees still apply).
A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it will be classed as a cancellation and cancellation policy will apply.

Less than 2 weeks notice given: A fee of $150 will apply to reschedule bookings. A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it will be classed as a cancellation.

Rescheduling when a booking requires travel and accomodation: A fee of $250 will apply to reschedule bookings, travel and accomodation. You will also be responsible for any fees Bright Girl Health incurs as a result of rescheduling travel and accomodation associated with your booking.

 

Online presentations

To reschedule or postpone an online presentation, a minimum of 24 hours notice must be given. A new booking date must be chosen at the time of the rescheduling request, otherwise it may be classed as a cancellation (see cancellation policy).

Tours

 
Cancellations and rescheduling of presentations that are a part of school tours are not eligible for any refund if cancellation is made within 2 weeks of the presentation date. Rescheduling school tour presentations will be processed on a case by case basis.

COVID-19 and Public Health Orders

Reasons for cancelling or rescheduling that fall under a Public Health Order or COVID-19 circumstance:

  • Cancellation/reschedule due to lockdown mandates or Public Health Orders
  • Cancellation/reschedule due to restrictions placed upon a school that prevents a presentation going ahead
  • Cancellation/reschedule due to organising teacher(s) or a large portion of students unable to attend school due to being required to quarantine or lockdown.

Face to face presentations:
If a presentation needs to be postponed due to new restrictions placed on schools by the government, no rescheduling fee will apply. If you choose to cancel your presentation, cancellation fees will apply.

Online presentations:
If a presentation needs to be postponed due to new restrictions placed on schools by the government, no rescheduling fee will apply. If you choose to cancel your presentation, cancellation fees will apply.

COVID cancellation fees
A presentation can be rescheduled due to COVID19 restriction without a fee.
If a presentation is cancelled, the following fees apply:

  • Cancellations made within 3 business days after COVID-19 mandate announcement or notification of lockdown/positive test result/new restrictions: A full refund of the deposited amount will be given. If the full fee was paid, 90% will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made within 4-7 business days after COVID-19 mandate announcement or notification of lockdown/positive test result/new restrictions: 50% of deposited amount will be refunded. If the full fee was paid, 80% will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 8-10 business days after COVID-19 mandate announcement or notification of lockdown/positive test result/new restrictions: 40% of deposited amount will be refunded. If full fee was paid, 70% of full fee will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made after 11 business days after COVID-19 mandate announcement or notification of lockdown/positive test result/new restrictions: No refund will be given. However, presentations may be rescheduled with no fee (see rescheduling policy).

Bright Girl Health reserves the right to cancel or postpone a presentation at any time in the event that one of our team contracts COVID-19 or is required to self isolate.
